Amazon is a tropical jungle island, an indigenous inca aztec paradise ( hem hem) atoll with a rain forest.
Various tribes and groups populate the area and fight to survive and claim land and power.
The purpose of "Amazon River Call of Cthulhu" is to introduce some elements of the Mythos created by H.P. Lovecraft in that paradise atoll
The goal for all of those who wish to share the experience will be to gather intelligence and probably forbid access to knowledge to other players.
If you belong to
a tribe, there is no doubt that you already know one or two lores about ancient facts and possibly you know about hidden locations where an explorer would be happy do dig to find out antiques.
The same statement applies for the various groups (Bandits, Raiders, Rogues, … ) who roam the area.
If you just wish to share the experience but imagine it s useless to read more, you can still use the following grid. It will provide you with enough information to successfully roleplay a CARP interrogation.
Just roll a 6 sided die or choose a number from 1 to 6 then open as many spoilers as you wish and feel free to give reply or not according to what you have learned and most important keep in mind that roleplay is important.

D) An intense volcanic activity, a Cyclopean tidal wave and the regrowth of a luxuriant vegetation lined crossed off from the surface of Amazon River all the tracks of "it" and those who preceded us here.

3 The beach(range) of captain MArshIn him(it) first journey of captain Obed Marsh goes back up(raises) probably in 1830. His(her,its) boat ties up(accosts) Amazon in a known place today under the name of turtle beach. Captain Marsh gains(wins) during a time(weather) the confidence(trust) of tribes and the years which follow see the captain returning year after year for a series of fruitful barters.
B 1845: Obed Marsh tries to introduce a new religion among the tribes of Amazon to rivet ....

Known under the name of the esoteric order of Dagon, the new religion has difficulty in becoming established.
Nevertheless year after year, captain Marsh returns to the coast of Amazon for new sessions of barter.
C 1850: an expedition(shipping) led by captain Marsh proceeds to a series of search(excavation) under the pyramid in front of the landing. Nobody knows what is found in these places. The legend nevertheless remembers a night of terrible thunderstorm after which the boat of captain Marsh had weighed anchor(got going).
D 1855: captain Marsh is back. Accompanied with those that he called the gods of the sea, him(it) goes back up(raises) Amazon in the direction of one coil temple that she(it) will never achieve ...

Harassed by tribes on all the duration of his(her,its) expedition(shipping), Marsh and his(her) men(people) have to abandon(give up) their boats and join the sea and their ship in a hasty flight(leak).
